12/25/14 - AEC Rochester

Kiwi was unfortunate to suffer a laceration on his claw caused by one of my other birds. I managed to stop the bleeding but was concerned and found the number of AEC from a link from another vet. Sure enough Kiwi started bleeding a bit more. The AEC staff was professional at such a late hour and took great care with my Love Bird. They gave me some medicine and instructions for his continued treatment. He took it all in like the pro that he is and is doing great. Birds can be difficult patients, especially very small ones. I would recommend the AEC as a resource to anyone having an emergency with their feathered buds. Fees were in-line for an examination, treatment and medicine. I don't have my paperwork with me but the vet was great and spent ample time explaining the issues and treatment. The office staff was also very professional and caring.
